Tarvaris Jackson (Seattle Seahawks)

Jackson threw for 163 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers last week, as he went without an interception and added five rushing yards. Week 17 brings what looks to be a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who entered Week 16 allowing 14.3 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks and have now not intercepted a pass in five straight games counting Saturday’s game. Jackson had 171 passing yards along with 20 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground against Arizona in Week 3, and he will have the added motivation of trying to prove he should be the Seahawks’ starting quarterback going into the 2012 season. There is always the possibility of an erratic performance from him, but fantasy football owners can consider “T-Jack” worth adding in deep leagues if Week 17 presents a quandary with their regular quarterback.

Consider Adding In: 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues
