If poor play or injuries have left you searching for suitable options to fill out your fantasy football roster, check out the check out the Week 13 edition of Bruno Boys Fantasy Footballs “Pick Them Ups.”
Quick Note: Not all players that had strong Week 12 outings are on this list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have value. If you have any questions about free agents not discussed in this article, head over to the forums and we’ll help you with the answers.
QUARTERBACKS - PICK THEM UP
Vince Young (Philadelphia Eagles)
Young went 26-for-48 for 400 yards with one touchdown and one interception along with six carries for 40 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 12, as he started his second consecutive game in place of Michael Vick (ribs). With the Eagles playing on Thursday night in Week 13, Young looks likely to get at least one more start against the Seattle Seahawks in a favorable matchup. The Seahawks have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in three of their last five games, and just allowed over 300 passing yards to Rex Grossman of the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Young can also rack up yards as a runner, which obviously enhances his fantasy potential. Fantasy football owners who find themselves without Vick should absolutely consider grabbing him now, and even those in deep leagues could find Young to be a worthwhile addition to their roster.
Consider Adding In: 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues, especially for Michael Vick owners

Rex Grossman (Washington Redskins)
Grossman went 26-for-35 for 314 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, and he has now thrown for 606 yards and four touchdowns (and three interceptions) over the past two games. The Redskins’ offense has shown improvement over the last couple weeks with him at the helm, so Grossman looks likely to have a fairly firm grip on the starting job at this point. Week 13 brings a very difficult matchup against the New York Jets, though they did allow 264 yards and three touchdowns through the air to Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. After that though, Grossman will get three favorable matchups from Week 14-16 against the New England Patriots, New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings and thus could become a factor in the fantasy football playoffs. We recommended him in this space last week, but Grossman is still available in over three-quarters of Fleaflicker leagues right now.
Consider Adding In: 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues, particularly two-quarterback leagues
