Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Pick: The good thing about drafting at 1.01 is that you get the player who you feel is projected No.1 overall. The bad thing is that in a 12-team league you have to wait 23 picks until you are on the clock again. After snagging Adrian Peterson at 1.01 the plan was to take the best overall player on board (except for a third running back) in Rounds 2-3. With the first five picks of Round 2 being RB, RB, QB, QB, RB it significantly helped my chances of landing a top tier, highly targeted wide out, considering only two had been drafted through the first 17 picks. When the draft wrapped back around to me at 2.12, I was pleased with the talent available at the wide receiver position and ecstatic to get my hands on the Miami Dolphins new prized possession, wide out Brandon Marshall. Marshall ranks No.7 at wide out on my fantasy football cheat sheet, and the fifth-year pro has three straight seasons with at least 100 receptions, 1,100 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Now, that’s is the type of consistency I want out my WR1. The celebration of landing Marshall was short-lived, as I was immediately on the clock for my Round 3 selection and had to determine if I was going RB2 or WR2.
