It was an exciting Division Championship weekend and we are now down to the final four. There is no more Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees, but Tom Brady and Eli Manning are still standing. The games haven’t been played yet and already several possible scenarios and questions come to mind. Will Tom Brady avenge his Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants? How many times will NBC show Jack and Jackie Harbaugh and how popular will the drinking game be? Can the San Francisco 49ers defense slow down the New England Patriots’ offense? Will the Network suits at NBC do a spit take once they realize the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens are in the Super Bowl again? Whatever the results maybe, it should be another exciting weekend for football fans nonetheless.

The Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs has come and gone and Tim Tebow is the story. The Denver Broncos shocked football fans around the globe upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers in an overtime thriller. Can Tebow and the Broncos upset the New England Patriots this week? Only time will tell. Which wide receiver will drive their team closer to a Super Bowl title? Could it be Demaryious Thomas for the second time in two weeks? He certainly has one of the most attractive matchups this week, so it is a possibility. This is it. We had some laughs and shared plenty of tears. The 2011 fantasy season is coming to a close this week. Many leagues have already decided their champions, but there are still some that have yet to be decided. Week 17 is a difficult week to access when it comes to the wide receiver position, because it’s unknown how much players such as Calvin Johnson and Marques Colston will play this week. Our rankings hopefully will help fantasy owners navigate those obstacles this week and give them their best shot to win a title. It’s been a wonderful regular season with still one week left to savor.

As always wide receivers have been a fickle position, but many studs came through for their fantasy owners last week including Calvin Johnson, Roddy White and Steve Smith. However, there were also many disappointing receivers who didn’t come through for their fantasy owners. These players include Victor Cruz, Wes Welker and Jordy Nelson.
