The hype has reached a crescendo, and it’s about time for the final game of the NFL season. Unfortunately, this also means that fantasy football season has reached its conclusion, but we’re nothing if not thorough here at Bruno Boys, so for the final time this season, here are the tight end rankings.

The Bro Bowl, Harbowl or simply the Super Bowl is almost here! It was a long road for both the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers to get to this point and they certainly couldn’t have done it without their respective wide receivers. Jacoby Jones caught a huge pass that led to a Baltimore Ravens victory against the Denver Broncos. Spectacular playoff performances from Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree have helped lead their teams to the final game. Which receiver will come through with a big playoff performance? Which receiver will potentially end up with the Super Bowl MVP trophy? These questions will be answered on Sunday, but the matchup between the Ravens and 49ers should provide enough fireworks to cap off another terrific NFL season.

Just one game. The 2012 NFL season has come and gone as have the playoffs, and all that is left is Super Bowl XLVII. The San Francisco 49ers will play host to the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans on Feb. 3 to end the season and crown a champion. In a way it feels a bit sad that we’re at the final game of the season. The Super Bowl is a celebration, a championship round of our favorite sport that we’ll see little of until August. The good news is that we have a Super Bowl that looks like it’s going to be a good one between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. Instantly dubbed the HarBowl because of the team’s head coaches, brothers Jim and John Harbaugh, respectively, this Super Bowl should instead focus on the two quarterbacks. Colin Kaepernick and Joe Flacco have two very different styles. It’s been an exciting year for fantasy football owners to pick their defenses and nothing changes in the Championship Round of the NFL playoffs. With so many talented offenses still alive, there isn’t a surefire defensive unit to use this week and we can’t really recommend a single unit as a sure fire start this week. Let’s find out how all of the defenses will perform in our Fantasy Football Championship Round Rankings.

Only one kicker missed a field goal last week during the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, and that player (Matt Prater) is no longer alive in the chase for the Super Bowl. The current field was perfect on three-pointers, and that includes David Akers, who retained his position as the 49ers kicker.
We’ll see how they do this week, with one game in a dome and the other outdoors during the NFC and AFC Championship games.

The championship round of the NFL playoffs has arrived, and fantasy football season is nearing the end. We saw some very good performances out of the tight end position last week, though we expect a mixed bag in the conference championship games, especially with the absence of Rob Gronkowski. Let’s take a look at how the tight ends will perform this week.

And then there were four. It’s safe to say that the Division Championship round did not go as many expected. The surging Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks have been eliminated from playoff contention. The Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens have new life. Many wide receivers were instrumental in their teams victory, none more so than Jacoby Jones, who caught the game tying catch that eventually allowed the Ravens to win in double overtime. It will be interesting to see, which wide receivers will make the big catches in the clutch and which ones will shy away from the big stage in the up coming AFC Championship and NFC Championship games.
