I would have laughed in your face if you had told me at the start of the season that the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Chicago Bears, and the Kansas City Chiefs would be the only undefeated teams in the NFL heading into Week 4. The Bears defeated the Green Bay Packers in a great NFC North divisional matchup on Monday Night Football and capped off an interesting and sometimes surprising Week 3. Let’s take a look at some observations and lessons learned from this week in the NFL.

Week 2 of the NFL is behind us, and with their 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49er with seconds on the clock, the New Orleans Saints become the eighth team in the league to start the 2010 season at 2-0. As we gear up for Week 3 and prepare to manage our fantasy teams to victory, I wanted to share some things I learned in Week 2 that might help you going forward.
1. Jahvid is the BEST rookie running back.
The Lions might have found the heir apparent to Barry Sanders. Lions’ fans haven’t had much to cheer about since Barry was eating turkey legs in Detroit after Thanksgiving games more than a decade ago. Best joins Megatron as another Detroit Lions’ must start fantasy option. He’ll be a fixture in my lineup every week from here on out. After watching Best’s performance on Sunday, I found myself repeatedly singing the refrain from that terrible (my opinion) Tina Turner song from the ‘80s “You’re simply the BEST!”
