Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Draft Kings Price: $5,800

Dalton and the Bengals get a soft start to their season as they travel to Indianapolis to face a Colts team led by what will be an incredibly rusty Andrew Luck. Dalton was a boom or bust option at QB last season but did still show that potential that made him a top option in fantasy as recently as 2016 when he was averaging 18.8 fantasy points per game according to FantasyPros.com. That is almost identical to the 18.7 points Dalton scored against the Colts in Week 8 last season when he threw for 243 yards and 2 TD’s.

Dalton still has trusted elite WR1 A.J. Green as a reliable target. Second year wideout John Ross looks ready for a sizable role as a field stretcher and even TD maven Tyler Eifert is reportedly healthy (for now). The Colts were top-10 in fantasy points allowed to QB’s last season and if Luck is anywhere close to his old self he could tempt the “Red Rifle” into a good old fashioned shoot out.
