One of the unique talents in the 2020 NFL Draft is linebacker/safety Isaiah Simmons who could play any one of three positions. The Cardinals passed up the upgrade at offensive tackle to take one of the big impact defensive players in the draft.
The Cardinals were the second worst pass defense in the league and 24th against the run. Simmons will help both rankings as he can drop back in coverage and is fast enough to pursue running backs out of the backfield. He is sure to see plenty of action with George Kittle in the division. Simmons is probably not a big sack guy since he is an elite talent in pursuit.
