D.J. Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers

Moore was the first wide receiver taken in this years draft and with the injury to Greg Olsen, he may get a chance to prove why. Moore was surprisingly not even targeted in Week 1. He did receive a carry out of the backfield, however.

Moore made flash plays all throughout training camp and in preseason action. We saw Devin Funchess succeed last season without Olsen on the field and Moore brings so much more to the table compared to guys like Jarius Wright and Torrey Smith as WR2 options going forward.

If you drafted Moore and are considering dropping him for the roster space, I would try and hold onto him. Keep a close eye on Moore in the coming weeks. The team may just want to ease him into action. There is no doubt in my mind that he has the raw talent to even potentially overtake Funchess as the WR1 on this offense.
