Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears at Las Vegas Raiders
After Week 1, Kmet’s fantasy production has come to a grinding halt. He’s caught one pass in each of the last three games and has a total of 59 receiving yards on the season. Switching from Andy Dalton to Justin Fields did not help Kmet, in fact it probably hurt his chances as he has not been able to build that chemistry on the field. Maybe that comes in the future, but for now, Kmet should not be anywhere near a starting lineup.
Ryan Griffin, New York Jets at Atlanta Falcons (London, ENG) — Zach Wilson hasn’t yet discovered the fine art of using his tight end to chip away at a defense. Of all of the tight ends on the roster, Griffin seems like the one most targeted (13) but he’s just not getting the volume… yet.
Jared Cook, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns — Cook finally found the end zone with the Chargers. He’s been targeted 23 times and pulled in 16 receptions but the Browns have put a lid on opposing tight ends after being mercilessly torched by Travis Kelce in Week 1.
