Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

Tannehill is coming off of his first multiple touchdown game since Week 10. That’s a long drought to come out of given preseason expectations of the quarterback. Now the Titans did suffer a great deal of injuries but pushed through with strong defense and the running back committee. However, the Texans allow the opposing quarterbacks to have their way. So we might see an uncharacteristic throttling of the Texans early to set the tone and secure extra rest and recovery for King Henry.

Quick Hits

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers
The Bucs could sure use a win to secure seeding in the NFC playoffs but they don’t need a victory. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot there as far as who can bail Brady out. The backfield is down to Ke’Shawn Vaughn and Le’Veon Bell who they picked up a few weeks ago. Look for Brady, Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski to carry the offense.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders
High stakes for the second year phenom. Win and get in. They can also tie too but who wants to see that? The Raiders have been tough defensively down this amazing stretch in December, but Herbert has picked the Raiders apart. This rivalry is always a ferocious game, and the Chargers have more weapons to deploy.

Stream Alert: Andy Dalton, Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
If you’re caught with a quarterback who is being benched for Week 18 or has COVID, Dalton could be a QB worth some coverage in daily leagues and desperate season-long leagues who are playing into Week 18. The Vikings have given up six multiple score games to quarterbacks in the last ten games.
