Here are the Week 17 Fantasy Football Team Defenses to Start.

Los Angeles Chargers Team Defense vs. Denver Broncos

We’d normally stay away from the Chargers defense who has only put two fantasy-worthy performances in 2021, but there’s one big reason as to why we like them this week: Drew Lock. Teddy Bridgewater may not have been consistent but the offense has come to a grinding halt with Lock under center. Against the Raiders last week, Lock completed just 15-of-22 passes for 153 yards and finished with 7.0 fantasy points.

This despite Lock having healthy receivers and tight ends, and a formidable running back duo behind him. If the Broncos wise up and go run heavy, we could see this being a troublesome matchup. But the Broncos are auditioning Lock to see if there’s anything worth keeping him around for the 2022 season and so they’re letting him throw the ball too.
