Who to start and who to sit? It’s the one question you need to answer right to do well in fantasy football. You won’t get it right every time. But at Bruno Boys, we help you work through those tougher decisions. That way, you make informed decisions on your starting lineup and will be confident in locking it in.

Our Quarterback Starts and Sits look at the line that separates QB1s and QB2s. We will rarely cover studs, unless it’s a sit recommendation based on matchup or we want to make note of a significant angle in the Quick Hits section at the end. Injuries happen too, which affects other players’ fantasy outlook.

We also consider super flex and two-quarterback leagues, which have become increasingly popular. There are owners who need to know when it’s safe to put Taylor Heinicke into a lineup or when the stars align to start rookies Mac Jones or Justin Fields. Lastly, bye weeks are a factor now.

Here are the Week 13 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Start.

Superflex Alert: Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions

The Lions aren’t a slam dunk for an opposing quarterback. Most have actually had a tougher time trying to get that huge fantasy performance so many seek. The Lions have allowed just two 300-yard games, three multiple touchdown game, and no rushing touchdowns. Cousins himself faced the Lions back in Week 5 and threw for 275/1/1, so we’ll see if he can improve on those numbers the second time around.

What we are encouraged by is that Cousins has bounced back from average games all season long. In the five games where he scored less than 20.0 points, he has bounced back with a 20.0+ points game four times. He’s also failed to throw for multiple scores three times, making him one of the most consistent starters this season. While it’s true, Dalvin Cook’s injury is a concern, but that could translate into more throws for Cousins.
