PPR Alert: TE START – Dalton Schultz, Dallas Cowboys vs. Las Vegas Raiders

This looks like a slam dunk for Schultz owners who have long agonized that Schultz cannot get a look in the end zone. Still, he’s getting good target volume and is averaging six to eight looks a game and while he hasn’t hit double-digit points since Week 6, he is in line for a heavy work load in Week 12. The Cowboys are expected to be missing both of their top two receivers, which means Dak Prescott will be eyeing Schultz to bail him out time and time again, especially if his receivers (like Cedric Wilson) keep dropping the ball.

TE SIT – Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

Listen, the Lions are an atrocious defense but they’ve done one thing consistently well and that’s defend tight ends. Only two have scored on them and just one has gone over 100 yards receiving on them. Still, they Pat Freiermuth, Tyler Conklin, George Kittle, Mark Andrews, Tyler Higbee, and Dallas Goedert all scoreless.

This is Kmet’s second time around the Lions this season and in his first game he caught just one of three targets for six yards. Andy Dalton’s presence did not give Kmet a boost and if anything, he’s back to ground zero in establishing himself as a dependable target.
