Who to start and who to sit? Honestly, it’s the one question you need to answer right in order to do well at fantasy football. Will you get it right all the time? No, because football will surprise, especially if you buy into the adage: On any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team.
But relax, we’re here to help you work through those decisions with as much information as you need to be confident in a decision you can stand by.
Here are the Week 11 Fantasy Football Kickers to Start.
Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys
If you want to talk about tough breaks, try owning Butker in fantasy. He’s part of a high-powered offense but has not had a game with more than two field goals made. He’s finished weeks in the range of K12-K16 seven times. He finally broke through with a 12-point performance against the Raiders last week and his first top 10 and top 5 performance. You know he’s going to be in the red zone plenty and you know that the Chiefs have had enough struggles where Butker probably should have been used more but Andy Reid can be aggressive. So you can see why he’s falling right at that border.
But let’s use last week as a vault into Week 11. The Cowboys four double-digit games by opposing kickers. We know their defense can be flawed and certainly Patrick Mahomes beginning to heat up is not something any secondary wants to see. Trevon Diggs will be assigned to Tyreek Hill, and Micah Parsons will be one of many trying to slow down Travis Kelce. There’s enough here that could equate more opportunity for Butker moving forward, which is why you’ve got to stay steady and hope he hits that floor of at least 8.0-10.0 fantasy points early and then reach for that ceiling.
