Who to start and who to sit?
It’s the one question you need to answer right in order to do well in this crazy game of fantasy. Will you get it right all the time? No, because football will surprise, especially if you buy into the adage: On any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team. But relax, we’re here to help you work through those decisions with as much information as you need to be confident in a decision you can stand by.
Here are the Week 1 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Start.
Good quarterbacks feel like they’re a dime a dozen because when you can wait to take Aaron Rodgers as late as the 8th to 10th round of your fantasy draft, the field is deep. So while the studs should be penciled in, at Bruno Boys our quarterback starts look at the line that separates QB1s and QB2s week to week, we consider the super flex and two-quarterback leagues out there that need to know if it’s safe to trot out Jameis Winston for a week or bring out rookie Zach Wilson.
Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Touchdown Tommy might live up to his name in Week one as he squares off against the Cowboys. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn comes to the Lone Star state from Atlanta and is back to focusing on the defense. His first task: fix the secondary and find more pass rushers. Instead in the draft, they selected LB Micah Parsons, who one could say adds to a position of strength. While that may be an upgrade at outside backer for them, there’s no other new wrinkles that would throw Brady off track. Quinn brought over a few of his better players from Atlanta but the verdict is still out if they did enough.
As for Brady, his offense is the same one he won a Super Bowl with back in February. They brought every body back and can only build off of how they ended the 2020 season. This is a might tall task for the Cowboys defense in Week 1, however watch to see how they do, as they’re a team defense that could show great improvement.
