Week 5 of the 2020 NFL Season is nearly in the books and looking back is important to help inform us of the games on the horizon. Unless you’re playing daily, the fantasy football season is a marathon. Things can change quickly on one play (in Dallas) or one decision (Washington). What happened should not be filed away. We must always make note of the Week 5 Impressions from each game, to point out what impressed us and what didn’t impress us in each game.

What Impressed: Chicago attacked Tom Brady and flustered him all night. Brady did not look comfortable and he was just 25-of-41 for 253 yards and one touchdown. While Brady still has gas in the tank, he’s no longer able to play above the matchup. TThe Bears themselves didn’t have a superb day fantasy wise, but that’s three opponents they’ve kept under 20 points.

One bright spot for the Bucs was seeing Ronald Jones break the century mark two weeks in a row against quality defenses. Each week that Leonard Fournette is sidelined (ankle), this backfield becomes more difficult to predict.

What Didn’t Impress: Let’s not let Nick Foles off the hook.
He was 30-for-42 with one touchdown and one interception. The Bears’ run game did not look good, nor did the pass. Few besides Allen Robinson got targets. Chicago eked by because of a great defensive effort, not because of its offense.
