As a reminder to those streaming different defenses each week, look to which team defenses have a tendency to score the points that can’t be taken away by the other team scoring. That means sacks, turnovers, touchdowns, three-and-outs and fourth-down stops. Let’s see which ones pass the grade for Week 5.
Buffalo Bills Team Defense at Tennessee Titans
Before Week 4, this game looked like a complete toss up. We have two 2019 playoff teams that are on the upswing with enough depth and pieces to carry them through the entire season. But we didn’t count on a coronavirus outbreak on the Titans and now there are 14 players who are on the Reserve/COVID-19 list for Week 5 including OT Isaiah Wilson, WR Adam Humphries, WR Corey Davis, and TE MyCole Pruitt on offense.
There’s plenty more impact players on defense too. But there’s enough that could impact the offense in a negative way. It’s an unfortunate situation but one that will give the Bills an advantage. Fair or unfair, fantasy owners of the Bills team defense should give them the start.
