It’s Week 5 the 2020 NFL season and fantasy football is already testing players. After a week of doing the weekly waiver wire duel and making hard decisions, and now Covid-19, it’s time to make the most crucial decision of them all–setting your lineups! We’re talking about the Team Defenses.

To those streaming defenses each week, look to teams who tend to score points that can’t be taken away by the opponent scoring. That means sacks, turnovers, touchdowns, three-and-outs and fourth-down stops. Let’s see which ones do NOT pass the grade for Week 5.
Philadelphia Eagles Team Defense at Pittsburgh Steelers
Hot off the performance in Week 4, it’s easy to see why Eagles Team Defense owners will want to let it ride for Week 5. They single-handedly took over the win against San Francisco, sealing it with a pick-six. The week prior, they sacked Joe Burrow eight times. That’s two weeks in a row the Eagles’ defense has been worth a fantasy start.
Unfortunately, the Steelers are not going to make it that easy. They’re averaging 26.0 points and taking care of the ball, with Ben Roethlisberger having just one pick, and five sacks. The Steelers are loaded enough to keep the Eagles on their heels taming their aggression. While we wouldn’t get rid of the Eagles D, we’d just wait for a better week to make the start.
