It’s Week 2 the 2020 NFL season and fantasy football is already in full gear as teams have gone through the entire cycle of drafting, tweaking rosters, setting the lineup and hitting waivers. It’s time to optimize the lineup once again and Kickers are up.

Kickers are always a wild card that can keep owners guessing week in and out over who to start. We like to look at how good the opposing defenses are, the game scripts that would allow a high scoring affair and kicker accuracy. Let’s see which ones pass the grade for Week 2.

Joey Slye, Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Reading the Panthers to start the season was difficult since we didn’t get a chance to see them in action. There was no telling how Matt Rhule would call a game, and how many of these players would mesh. Teddy Bridgewater did a decent job of giving his team a chance with multiple scoring drives and Rhule was okay taking three points.

That bodes well for Slye, who showed last season that there are weeks where he can light up the scoreboard. He started off the season going 3-for-3 and the matchup against the Bucs offers potential for multiple scoring drives.
