Fantasy Football is back and the 2020 NFL season is in full bloom and in what’s already been a crazy year for all, we at Bruno Boys can say that we are glad to see the first week of games kickoff of what is sure to be an equally eventful season of offering advice to all of you. Hopefully, we can see this through all 17 weeks of the season. While we can’t say that football will alleviate the struggles many of us are facing, hopefully it can offer an escape and taste of normalcy in your fall season. There is little doubt that this will be a season that will chart new territory and circumstances. So let’s get to it!
In this article, we are looking at the Kickers. Let’s see which ones have the wrong matchups in Week 1.
Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders at Carolina Panthers
The Raiders offense is in a good situation this week. Scoring opportunities will be there for Josh Jacobs, Darren Waller, and Henry Ruggs. But I don’t like Carlson as a fantasy option. Last year Carlson was 6-for-10 in field goals 40-49 yards and 0-for-2 from 50+.
Those numbers are bad because no matter how good he is within 39 yards, it’s the bonus accurate kicks from the longer distances, combined with the frequency, that matters in fantasy. With just 26 attempts, the frequency wasn’t there and the overall 73 percent accuracy is not what you want to see in your lineup.
