It’s Week 2 the 2020 NFL season and fantasy football is already in full gear as teams have gone through the entire cycle of drafting, tweaking rosters, setting the lineup and hitting waivers. It’s time to optimize the lineup once again and Wide Receivers are up.

Receivers made a big splash in Week 1 with nearly all the chalky plays hit big. Some WR2s cashed in too. Regrettably, a handful of those with high expectations fell short too, but remember, that was the first game anyone’s played in several months. And while we can’t sniff out every bust, we’ll let you know if we see such a matchup where a bust is possible (in our Sits articles). Right now, let’s see which ones pass the grade for Week 2.

Emmanuel Sanders, New Orleans Saints at Las Vegas Raiders

Michael Thomas is out, which means all of the other Saints’ receivers get upgrades and increased looks, the most being Sanders. Brought in originally to help move the sticks as the slot receiver, the 33-year old’s role against the Raiders will increase as he was involved in less than 35 snaps but if the Saints wanted to feature him, they could and he’d hold his own. Look for Sanders to work both the slot and the edge, bouncing between the two areas to take advantage of the matchups against the Raiders’ young corners.
