Let’s dive right into these best of 7 series and see how we can make you some money in Game 1 and throughout the NLCS.

#1 Los Angeles Dodgers vs. #2 Atlanta Braves (8:08pm ET – FOX)

There is no better matchup that the Los Angeles Dodgers vs the Atlanta Braves. We open the series with Dodgers hard throwing RHP Walker Buelher facing Braves lefty Max Fried.

Both the Dodgers and the Braves have a lot in common entering the NLCS. They can pitch, they can hit, they can beat you any which way. However, this is the NLCS and it’s time for the best brand of baseball. Because of this you can expect tight games throughout the series. We looked at the weather, but it will be a non-factor as the roof in Houston will be closed. It will be perfect conditions for this Game 1.

Taking a deep dive into Game 1 and you have these pitching stats:

2020 Road Statistics:

Max Fried (Braves)
.194 BAA
.290 OBP
.604 OPS
.265 BAbip

Walker Buehler (Dodgers)
.246 BAA
.300 OBP
.900 OPS
.200 BAbip

A lot like we discussed in our ALCS preview, both pitchers have done an excellent job of limiting their opponents opportunities on the road and will be tough tonight. On top of that, both teams are rested and very deep in the bullpen. You can expect both started to pitch at least 5 innings, but if trouble starts after that the managers will bring in the bullpen to mitigate the damage. This game is going to be tight and low scoring.
