It’s Week 2 the 2020 NFL season and fantasy football is already in full gear as teams have gone through the entire cycle of drafting, tweaking rosters, setting the lineup and hitting waivers. It’s time to optimize the lineup once again and Quarterbacks are up.

Based on your league set up and scoring, your starting fantasy roster could hinge completely on the signal caller or it could be the most insignificant of skill players. In super-flex or two-quarterback leagues, it’s often the right combination of the two that pushes you over the edge. Start the wrong guy and it could be the difference of 20-30 points and a costly playoff berth down the road. Let’s see which ones did NOT make the grade for Week 2.

Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams

One wonders how many beatings Wentz can take like the one he got in Week 1. The Washington Football Team feasted on the news that Lane Johnson wouldn’t play and they rushed Wentz like an Orc Army storming Helm’s Deep. Johnson is supposed to play this week but the state of the Eagles’ offensive line (three starters injured), added to the list of injuries they have at the skill positions should worry Wentz owners.

The Rams pose no letdown of a pass rush or defensive presence. They’re going to be aggressive after the ball and in Wentz’s grill all game. We’re looking at low ceiling returns for Wentz, for Week 2 and the near future.
