Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Since Week 1 Brown has been a tease, despite averaging nearly nine carries per game since Week 2, he’s been held scoreless and under 50 yards rushing in each of those games.
Akers had been nursing sore ribs, but still got nine carries in his first game back last week. He too has been a disappointment to start the 2020 campaign, failing to score more than 6.0 fantasy points in any game. He’s clearly behind Henderson looking at last week’s distribution. Plus Henderson got the carries when it counted most.
Henderson has been the one to own through five weeks but busted big time against the Giants in Week 4, but has three times scored just below 20.0 fantasy points in three games, against good defenses. San Francisco is no different, as they have held every running back since Week 2 scoreless and under 77 total yards. All of the Rams’ backs offer little flex consideration but if you have Henderson this week, he’s the only one of value.
