Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Wentz has broadly not looked great most of the season, which has led to fantasy managers jumping off the bandwagon. But after his showing in Week 7 against the New York Giants (359 passing yards, two touchdowns). He has multiple passing touchdowns in three straight games. In the last two of those three, and five of his last six, he has a rushing touchdown. He has topped 19 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in five straight games.

Week 8 brings a great matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, who are in the bottom half of the league against quarterbacks. Five of the seven signal callers they’ve faced have had multiple passing touchdowns, including Kyle Allen in Week 7.

After a Week 9 bye, Wentz gets the Giants (Week 10), Cleveland Browns (Week 11), Seattle Seahawks (Week 12), Green Bay Packers (Week 13) and New Orleans Saints (Week 14). The Browns, Seahawks and Saints are bottom-eight defenses against quarterbacks.

Wentz is pretty highly owned, with a positive trend in his ownership rates. But that upcoming schedule is about as good it can get for a quarterback, and he should start getting some important targets back, so getting back on the Wentz bandwagon is an order
