Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Miami Dolphins

Fitzpatrick was as efficient (22-for-28) as he was proficient (350 yards, three touchdowns) against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. He is doing his best hold off talk of Tua Tagovailoa taking over, with multiple passing touchdowns and/or over 300 yards in three of the last four (more than 20 fantasy points in four straight). He will get at least one more start, in a very good spot against one of his former teams.

The schedule reshuffling with Broncos-Patriots being postponed to Week 6 had shifted the Dolphins and Broncos to Week 11. In Week 6 the Dolphins will now take on the New York Jets, who only fail to be a bottom tier fantasy defense against quarterbacks because they are regularly getting blown out.

If Fitzpatrick keeps the starting job coming out of Miami’s new Week 7 bye, he will be fantasy relevant until further notice. Target him as a top-end streamer for Week 6, and keep a close eye on the situation after that.
