The 2020 NFL season is just 2 weeks old and it’s time to start streaming defenses from your fantasy football waiver wire. As we discussed in our preseason and weekly rankings, unless you own one of the few top tier defenses, you are better off finding the best option each week from your leagues waiver wire. Instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, immediately after reading our team defenses to stream article head over to your league and put your waiver wire claims in for Week 3.
Remember, often times these team defenses to stream we are suggesting are for one week only. If we like a defense long-term, or in a different week than the current one, we will make sure to let you know.
Tennessee Titans, D/ST
The Titans allowed 30 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, but they did intercept Gardner Minshew twice and sack him twice. After allowing 14 points to the Broncos in Week 1, but with no sacks and no interceptions, the Tennessee defense is line for a nice week in Week 3.
The Minnesota Vikings offense has simply been dreadful for most of eight quarters this season. Kirk Cousins has been sacked for a safety in both games , and Stefon Diggs has clearly been missed as Adam Thielen gets extra coverage attention. In Week 3, the Titans might be the best defense they’ve faced so far.
The Titans defense pushes beyond general streamer ownership threshold in Yahoo! leagues, but perhaps owing to playing late Monday night in Week 1 they’re widely available in ESPN leagues. Stream this unit with confidence in Week 3 if you can.
