Jordan Akins, TE, Houston Texans

Akins only had two catches in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but they went for 39 yards and he also scored. He should start to leave Darren Fells behind in the tight end pecking order for Houston.

Week 2 brings a tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. But Browns tight end David Njoku scored a touchdown against them in Week 1, with 49 yards on his other two catches. So a tight end who can threaten downfield seems to be a bit of a weakness.

Akins had some camp buzz attached to him, then he delivered a touchdown in Week 1. That adds up to him being a viable waiver wire add, even as mostly a dart throw/streamer in deeper leagues until further notice.
