Dare Ogunbowale, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
With James Robinson (ankle) out, Ogunbowale took over as the Jaguars lead ball carrier Sunday against the Chicago Bears (14 carries for 71 yards, three catches for seven yards on four targets). If Robinson misses Week 17 too, and the fact he did not practice all week last week puts that in play, a workhorse role would be likely again for Ogunbowale.
The Indianapolis Colts entered Week 16 in the middle of the league against running backs (Yahoo! 0.5-point PPR), with two good games allowed to Derrick Henry skewing the numbers worse. So it’s not a great matchup for whoever Jacksonville’s No. 1 back winds up being in Week 17.
Ogunbowale is mostly a must-add in case Robinson is effectively shut down and misses the season finale. But if he does get a shot at 10-15 touches again, there’s appeal here as a flex option in 12 and 14-team leagues (with some tilt toward PPR, if applicable).
