Gus Edwards, RB, Baltimore Ravens
J.K. Dobbins had success against the New York Giants on Sunday (11 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown), but he also exited with a chest injury and did not return. Edwards stepped in for him, and finished with 122 total (85 rushing) on 17 touches.
A game the Ravens had solidly in-hand may have dictated caution with Dobbins. But if he were unable to play in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Edwards would be the clear lead back for Baltimore in a very good matchup.

In their last six games, seven running backs have had at least 11 carries against the Bengals. Five have scored a touchdown, and one of the others (Myles Gaskin) had 141 total yards. Widen to at least nine touches, and eight backs have had at least 59 total yards and/or a touchdown against Cincinnati over that six-game span.
Regardless of Dobbins’ status, Edwards is lined up for a good share of the work against the Bengals. If you need an option with a legit RB1 ceiling and a high floor, this is your guy for Week 17.
