10. Redskins 29, Panthers 21

CAR – After jumping ahead early, Kyle Allen did little in the second half. However he did score his first rushing touchdown, which gave him three on the day. Curtis Samuel and D.J. Moore each scored but it was poor execution at the goal line at the end of the game, that ultimately did them in.

WAS – Derrius Guice ran over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns while Adrian Peterson ran for nearly 100 yards and scored too. The two backs carried the offense as it helped erase another bad game by Dwayne Haskins.

11. Packers 31, Giants 13

NYG – Daniel Jones had another day to forget in his rookie season. Just too many turnovers put his team behind and the Packers put the gas pedal to the floor whenever they got a turnover. Saquon Barkley had a flex-worthy game but it’s clear he’s not the same since he hurt his ankle.

GBP – Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdowns, two to Davante Adams and the veteran quarterback showed again that when the matchup is sweet, he doesn’t let his fantasy owners down. Allen Lazard had a big day too catching a few deep plays. The defense took advantage of three picks of Daniel Jones and Rodgers found his main man in Adams often.

12. Ravens 20, 49ers 17

BAL – Justin Tucker nailed a 49-yard field goal the end of regulation and took the best punch the NFC had. Lamar Jackson had himself a game, rushing over 100 yards and getting a crucial first down late in the game to allow the Ravens to run the clock down. They performed on the big stage and won the pivotal points in crunch time.

SFO – The Niners wasted a big day by Raheem Mostert who dominated the carries over Tevin Coleman. Jimmy Garoppolo did not do enough as the Ravens put the clamp on the passing attack of the Niners. This game had the intensity of a playoff game, and both teams made minimal mistakes.
