7. Cowboys 15, Bills 26
DAL – Dak Prescott and Zeke Elliott put up big numbers but the Bills kept Elliott out of the end zone. Where the Cowboys have stalled out though is with their play calling. Given their talent pool, they should not have this much trouble scoring.
BUF – Devin Singletary had a noteworthy game with 101 total yards and a touchdown. Josh Allen scored twice and Cole Beasley played well against his former team, and he’s slowly pulling head of John Brown as the Bills top receiver.
8. Jaguars 11, Bucs 25
JAX – Gardner Minshew was brought in to relieve a turnover-prone Nick Foles to bring his team back from a scoreless day. Leonard Fournette ran into a legit run defense in the Bucs, who held him to just 38 yards rushing. He managed to catch nine passes for 53 yards.
TAM – Peyton Barber surprised as the main ball carrier, securing all of the red zone touches and scoring two touchdowns. James Winston didn’t even need to do too much as he failed to throw for over 300 yards for the first time in seven weeks.
9. Chiefs 31, Raiders 0
KCC – Without Damien Williams, the Chiefs ran it down the Raiders’ throats with Darwin Thompson, LeSean McCoy and even Patrick Mahomes who all had rushing touchdowns. Travis Kelce had a nice game but Darrell Williams was the only one to catch a touchdown before exiting the game with a pulled hamstring.
OAK – The Raiders’ tight ends seemed to be the only receivers who could get anything going against the Chiefs. Darren Waller, Foster Moreau, and Derek Carrier combined for 10 catches for 125 yards, while six other players combined for 10 catches for 97 yards. However, it’s the fourth straight subpar outing for Carr as the Raiders have lost two in a row, being blown out.
