Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers
In the last two seasons, Goff has thrown a total of 60 touchdowns and yet he was selected in most fantasy drafts, like Wilson, as a bottom end QB1 at best, or a top end backup. Folks sure do have high expectations for the elite class, unreasonably so. So while he’s not considered a top five quarterback, he has put forth games with three or more touchdowns 32.2 percent of his starts since 2017.
Again, like Cousins Goff has everyone healthier than they were last season, including Todd Gurley, and with little else changed in the offense, we expect him to pick up right where he left off, against a Panthers defense that in 2018 was 18th against the pass and 19th in points allowed.
