Week 8 has arrived and the dominoes continue to fall. Patrick Mahomes’ injury’s made the season for Tyreek Hill owners, and has opposing defenses licking their chops. Trades have occurred and folks like Mohamed Sanu, Emmanuel Sanders and others are on the move before the trade deadline. It all funnels into this week of football where the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are on bye.

Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 8 Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Sit.

T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions vs. New York Giants

Since he kicked off the season with a 131-yard performance with a touchdown, Hockenson’s had just one game of note, which was the Week 4 loss against the Chiefs. That was a great matchup that Hockenson exploited for his second touchdown but the Lions could have used him more. Since then though, it’s been quiet. He’s being targeted more, but not in key situations and definitely not downfield. He hasn’t cleared 33 yards receiving in six straight games and the Giants of all teams have not allowed an opposing tight end to score on them since Week 1.
