O.J. Howard/Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers
Brate was once thought of as a TE2 who scores goal line touchdowns, has just one score in five games. He has converted 10-of-11 targets for 72 yards, which would be nice if we’re talking 1-2 games, but five?
As for Howard, there may not be a more disappointing tight end than him. Hunter Henry and David Njoku have injuries the excuse them, but what’s Howard’s? His numbers are just slightly higher than Brate’s at 11-of-14 for 141 yards. Again, when you carry that over five weeks, fantasy owners cannot work with that little of production, which is a shame because the offense seems to be clicking enough for points to be had. Unfortunately it is all going to the wideouts.
