It’s time to put the right players forward and keep the ball rolling. Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

That said, the early part of the season can be a tough one since the preseason shows so little to go on. The complete NFL package get clearer and clearer with each passing week. Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 3 Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Sit.

Jared Cook, New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks

We will see what becomes of the Saints without Drew Brees and there are obviously going to be drop offs for each skills player when you don’t have a future hall of fame quarterback under center. However, in fairness to Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill, we will observe the next few weeks to see what this offense will evolve into. That’s why it’s risky to go too strong on Cook because we simply cannot decipher what Sean Payton is going to do and how Bridgewater is going to run the main offense. It’s a shame, because I think this is a good matchup for Cook, and perhaps a place for him to reset because he’s only caught four of 10 targets. But with Cook not in the flow of the offense or making use of the opportunities given, there’s too much unknown in this game to cement him in your lineup.
