It’s time to put the right players forward and keep the ball rolling. Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

That said, the early part of the season can be a tough one since the preseason shows so little to go on. The complete NFL package get clearer and clearer with each passing week. Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 3 Fantasy Football Team Defenses to Start.

San Francisco 49ers Team Defense vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh is going to jump into Week 3 with a new regular quarterback and this is a ripe opportunity to jump on the first time starter and force him into mistakes. Even with Ben Roethlisberger healthy, the Steelers offense wasn’t running very smooth. James Conner is banged up, JuJu Smith-Schuster has been struggling against top corners and other receivers like Donte Moncrief dropped a lot of passes. Either way, Mason Rudolph is going to be a risky x-factor that could be competent or be prone to mistakes.

The Niners have been playing hot defense, by being opportunists and finally has the defensive line that they’ve been coveting after drafting multiple pass rushers at the top of too many drafts. With seven sacks on the season and holding two opponents under 20 points, the Niners D is on the rise.
