Week 8 has arrived and the dominoes continue to fall. Patrick Mahomes’ injury’s made the season for Tyreek Hill owners, and has opposing defenses licking their chops. Trades have occurred and folks like Mohamed Sanu, Emmanuel Sanders and others are on the move before the trade deadline. It all funnels into this week of football where the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are on bye.
Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.
Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 8 Fantasy Football Kickers to Start.
Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons
For the first time this season, Myers reached double digits last week against the Ravens. He’s raised his scoring average from 3.3 points over Weeks 1-3 to 8.5 points from Weeks 4-7. So even though the Seahawks scored a season-low 16 points, Myers accounted for 10 of them.
With his prospects going up, the Falcons defense is flushing away leads, and frankly has been doing it all season. They’ve allowed all but two opposing kickers hit multiple field goals and four of the last five kickers they’ve faced has had at least 10 points.
