Week 8 has arrived and the dominoes continue to fall. Patrick Mahomes’ injury’s made the season for Tyreek Hill owners, and has opposing defenses licking their chops. Trades have occurred and folks like Mohamed Sanu, Emmanuel Sanders and others are on the move before the trade deadline. It all funnels into this week of football where the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are on bye.
Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.
Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 8 Fantasy Football Kickers to Sit.
Zane Gonzalez, Arizona Cardinals at New Orleans Saints
In case you haven’t noticed, Zane Gonzalez is having himself the season. He has scored at least 10 points in four games, and another two games with nine points. He has successfully ridden the highs and lows of a rookie quarterback at the helm, but that hasn’t stopped Gonzalez from being a reliable starter. That said, he’s facing a Saints team that has very good defensively since Drew Brees went down. Only two kickers have managed more than one field goal against the Saints. He may get his points via extra points, but the Cardinals won’t score enough for those to matter.
