Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Chargers
Aaron Jones is a known start, a sure thing and is not on the injury report even though he left the Week 8 game with a shoulder injury. But Jamal Williams is a different story. Will he get enough touches to be worth the play. Whenever he’s had close to 10 or more he’s been worth a flex play. At times, he has had less, and busted.
The Chargers though have been very friendly to running backs, and typically, the workhorse cashes in. But if you look at teams with multiple backs, like Denver and Pittsburgh, Royce Freeman and Benny Snell Jr. got enough work to justify a flex play. We know Matt Lefleur loves to run the ball and this s a matchup where Williams will continue to thrive, as he’s strung together three quality games, while sharing duties with Jones.
