Week 7 is upon us and we’ve seen a flurry of trades this week that has changed the makeup of a few teams and matchups. This is another big bye week that sees four teams on break, like last week, including Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 7 Fantasy Football Running Backs to Start.

Royce Freeman, Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Phillip Lindsay is a safe start each week. Look, he’s scored in three of the last four games. But let’s say you have Freeman, you’re probably wondering when and if he can ever be deployed into your starting roster. He’s been right on the border, scoring in the range between 6-12 fantasy points.

I do think he’s primed for a solid flex start against the Chiefs who have been unable to stop the run every week of the season. In nearly five straight games, they’ve allowed a 100-yard rusher (Josh Jacobs only got 99 in Week 2), but Denver has never ridden the hot hand. They’ve always split the touches in half and Freeman has always added a handful of catches, which is where Freeman can be more of a solid flex play with the potential to enter that RB2 zone, especially if he gets in the end zone.
