It’s the last week of the regular season and that means it’s also the last possible week for season-long leagues to hold their Super Bowl or playoffs. That means we have championships that still need to be settled. Who will you start? Who CAN you start? Which player milestone is worth gambling on?
With players being benched, playoff seedings cemented, this is not an easy week to win, but that’s why Bruno Boys Fantasy Football is here to help you make those final decisions to help lock in your lineups with confidence.
Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.
Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 17 Fantasy Football Wide Receivers to Sit.
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Niners pass defense is still tops in the league, allowing 165.5 per game, but we saw last week that it has off days. Knowing that their running backs are depleted, San Francisco is expected to sit back and give Lockett extra attention as he got back in Week 10 when he was held to three receptions for 26 yards. Lockett has cleared 7.0 points once in his last six games and that was against the Panthers’ weak secondary. Unless Russell Wilson gets a broken play or they’re working miracles, it’s going to be a day of heavy traffic for Lockett and company.
