It’s the last week of the regular season and that means it’s also the last possible week for season-long leagues to hold their Super Bowl or playoffs. That means we have championships that still need to be settled. Who will you start? Who CAN you start? Which player milestone is worth gambling on?
With players being benched, playoff seedings cemented, this is not an easy week to win, but that’s why Bruno Boys Fantasy Football is here to help you make those final decisions to help lock in your lineups with confidence.
Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.
Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 17 Fantasy Football Team Defenses to Start.
Philadelphia Eagles Team Defense at New York Giants
Finding a good team defense involves finding teams that still have something to play for. The Eagles need to win to help ensure the Cowboys can’t sneak in. They can still be thrown on, but the Eagles are coming off a six-sack performance against the Cowboys’ offensive line. Can they do it on the Giants is the question. The Giants were more generous to opposing defenses in September and October, but not so in recent weeks.
New York has come on in recent weeks and team defenses have struggled to score into double-digits, but Daniel Jones is back at quarterback, which means his rookie struggles can occur. We’re looking at the Eagles pulling it all together to get those DST points that don’t go away (sacks, defensive outs, and turnovers), should Jones and the Giants are able to pour on the points.
