Week 8 has arrived and the dominoes continue to fall. Patrick Mahomes’ injury’s made the season for Tyreek Hill owners, and has opposing defenses licking their chops. Trades have occurred and folks like Mohamed Sanu, Emmanuel Sanders and others are on the move before the trade deadline. It all funnels into this week of football where the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are on bye.

Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 8 Fantasy Football Running Backs  to Sit.

Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons vs. Seattle Seahawks

It appears that Matt Ryan is out for this week’s game against the Seahawks and that will mean Matt Schaub dusts off his helmet and tries to relieve Ryan. But how efficient will he be in executing the offense and incorporate the run? Had Freeman not gotten ejected from last week’s game we could have seen a small sample size of him working with Schaub.

I feel Schaub will struggle and despite Seattle’s average to below average run defense, the confidence that Schaub can sustain drives is not there. Freeman could still get volume, perhaps some in the passing game, but the rushing attack has never been there this season and he has yet to punch one in with a running play.
