This is Week 14, the first week of fantasy football playoffs, and hopefully you’ve positioned yourself to be in the hunt for your league’s championship. It’s been a season that required some thinking out of the box at times, and some creativity to account for all the injuries at quarterback and teams that and we’re here to help you set those final lineups in stone.

Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 14 Fantasy Football Running Backs to Sit.

LeSean McCoy, Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots

Running the ball is not the Chiefs’ strong suit. Their 94.5 yards per game is 24th in the league. Darrell Williams has been placed on injured reserve and Damien Williams will miss the game with a rib injury. At least that will take out the guesswork for owners who have a piece of this timeshare. That will simplify the carries to McCoy and rookie Darwin Thompson but the Patriots are still a difficult matchup, giving up only two touchdowns this season. McCoy hasn’t been overly productive as a running back or as a receiver, so it makes him tough to trust in this game. Even when he’s scored, McCoy hasn’t filled up the stat sheet, so against the Pats, we’d look for an easier matchup down the road.
