It’s Week 13 of the season and all the byes are behind us know with every team in play. We’ve already had six teams play on Thanksgiving and we’ve still got 13 games to play in a very important week of the playoff push. In many leagues this is the last week to position yourself in the seeding. Potentially you could already be staring up at the scoreboard after this past Thursday, but that’s why we’re here to help you set your lineups.

Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.

Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.

Here are your Week 13 Fantasy Football Running Backs to Sit.

Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings

Give it up to the Seattle Seahawks, a team you can trust to pound the ball 30+ times in a game, and for the most part, Carson gets a majority of those carries, nearly all of them. Last week though, against one of the toughest run defenses in the league, Carson got out touched by Rashard Penny, 14-12 and if you look at his worst games of the season, they’ve come against the Steelers, Saints, Ravens and Eagles, all of which are upper level run defenses.

We haven’t even discussed his recent bout with fumblitis, as he’s coughed up the ball four times in the last three games. This isn’t a chance to tarnish Carson’s good name, but simply building a case as to why one would want to bench him against the Vikings who outside of two occasions, have bottled up opposing running backs this year to either flex-worthy or below flex numbers. If Carson finds himself sharing the ball that evenly with Penny again, at least against stiff competition, there’s good reason to hold him back.
