Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles

Based on his performance in Week 10 against a tough Niners’ defense, I wouldn’t blame anyone for wanting to start Carson this week. However, this is a bad matchup when you look at the body of work by the Eagles’ run defense. They’ve held all but two running backs to under 45 yards rushing and just six rushing touchdowns. The only backs to go over 45 yards were Alexander Mattison (63) and Zeke Elliott (111). That’s a pretty impressive resume by the Eagles and Carson has managed fantasy worthy games against stout defenses, like Tampa and the aforementioned Niners, but if you have a quality option, then at least consider it over Carson.
