Week 8 has arrived and the dominoes continue to fall. Patrick Mahomes’ injury’s made the season for Tyreek Hill owners, and has opposing defenses licking their chops. Trades have occurred and folks like Mohamed Sanu, Emmanuel Sanders and others are on the move before the trade deadline. It all funnels into this week of football where the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are on bye.
Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on.
Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 8 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Sit.
Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills
The Bills have bullied quarterbacks all season long, holding all but one under 20.0 fantasy points. They’ve held the likes of Tom Brady to under 5.0 fantasy points. No quarterback has thrown for more than one touchdown against them and those who have scored more needed their legs to do the job for them. It doesn’t help that Wentz himself has been inconsistent in recent weeks, putting up good but not efficient numbers in Week 6 and then laying eggs against the Cowboys and Jets. Wentz has typically been consistent no matter the competition, but this is the week to give him a breather.
