Drafts are done. The regular season is here and now that you’ve finalized your roster, it’s time to put the right players forward and start the season fast. Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on. On the flip side, sometimes you want start someone but all signs are pointing to a benching.
The early part of the season can be a tough one since the preseason shows so little to go on. Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 1 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Sit.
Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals at Seattle Seahawks
Would you believe that Andy Dalton is 2-0 against the Seahawks? He has thrown for 499 yards, four touchdowns and three picks, with a cumulative 86.5 passer rating against them? It’s always possible on any given Sunday that any team can win. However, until A.J. Green returns, starting Dalton would be a mistake. The Seahawks are going to be keyed in on stopping Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, C.J. Uzomah, and John Ross, since Dalton is not a threat to run. Seattle is always a tough place for a visitor to play, even when a team is at 100 percent, and adding Jadaveon Clowney is a big addition he needs to be aware of.
